The latest foster dog is snoring in my husband's lap while my daughter is snoring in her bed. On this beautiful, sunny day my husband and I are pondering how to spend our family time today. Shall we relish our moments together or engage in critical conversation about the future? Always a tough choice. It looks like you are also having a beautiful sunny day in DC. How will you spend your family time?

Speaking of planning for the future, do you have any advice about how we should manage our savings? We felt financially secure a few months ago, and even considered retiring in a few years. Now things are looking less certain. I'm afraid that the market downturn has something to do with you. I would appreciate it if you would stop tweeting about your disappointment with Jay Powell. Greg Ip opined in today's WSJ that your political pressure on him is adding volatility to an already shaky market. The Fed operates best when free from political pressure so best to stop harassing Jay. Don't you think?

What are you up to today? I hope that you call Kirstjen Nielsen and command her to find out why another child died in US custody. We need to take better care of families that are coming here for our help.
